IKEA Inspiration Experience

In celebration of the iconic Swedish home furnishing brand’s 75th Anniversary, TH Productions, in partnership with Ogilvy, produced the IKEA Inspiration Experience. The interactive pop-up event transformed spaces in both New York and Chicago, allowing consumers and IKEA Family members to step into room settings from the 2019 catalog, experience new product offerings, and simultaneously test their trivia knowledge through a gamified QR scanning experience. Guests enjoyed the brand’s famous Swedish meatballs, social photo moments in a “time machine” photo booth modeled after the original IKEA retail stand featuring a variety of themed emoji overlays though AR technology, and walked away with IKEA prizes.
